I was surprised by the scope of this book. It is going to take a long time to completely plumb the depths of the information contained. I previously studied Gunter Faure's Principles of Isotope Geology, and it was an eye-opening text, but Isotopes: Principles and Applications goes wider and deeper than by: Isotopes are variants of a particular chemical element which differ in neutron number, and consequently in nucleon number.
